My name is Jason Hoffman, and I am the trainer at Behavior & Beyond Dog Training. I specialize in basic obedience and puppy training. I am passionate about helping people learn tools and skills to enhance their daily life and relationship with their dogs. I am always looking to learn new and different ways of doing things and striving to improve my methods.

Training Services
Puppy Lessons
Get your pup started off on the right paw by enrolling a puppy package. Puppies are always learning how to interact with the world around them. This program will ensure that you have the information and techniques at the ready to teach them the right things! Topics that will be covered include: potty-training, house-breaking, biting, jumping, sleeping through the night, and more.
Basic Obedience
Basic Obedience lessons are tailored to fit your needs and are highly adaptable. Lesson plans can be pre-determined by a trainer or completely customized to focus on specific goals.

Basic obedience training will typically teach: recall, name response, sit, down, and place behavior. Other training plans can be created to work towards a goal such as building confidence, managing excitement or anxiety in new situations, and maintaining focus in distracting environments. A basic obedience lesson can also be adapted to problem solve and troubleshoot a specific problem behavior such as pulling on leash, barking, or jumping.
Virtual Lessons
Virtual lessons are offered for clients who may live in remote locations, who may have difficulty traveling, or who simply want the convenience of logging into a virtual call for a training lesson. Anything that can be covered in basic obedience can be done in a virtual lesson. With a working camera, lessons can be conducted with live feedback on behavior and techniques just like an in-person lesson.
How to Get Started
Intake Form
We require an intake form to be submitted for each dog that we see. The easiest way to submit this is by booking a free consult and completing the form during the booking process.
Self Serve Booking
After you complete an intake form and book a consult, you can book a lesson.
Lesson Packages
Lesson packages require an account to be created. This is so you can log into your account and manage your appointments.
Lesson Package Scheduling
By default, when you book a lesson package and select your first appointment, all subsequent lessons will book weekly on the same day at the same time. If you need to reschedule a specific day, you can change the appointment by logging into your account.

Contracts & Policies
We require clients to acknowledge and agree to a client contract & a reschedule/cancellations policy. Here is the long and short of it: We require 24 hours notice for a reschedule or cancellation. A link to each agreement is available in the website footer.
